Honey shaped by the mountains
A family apiary in Kazbegi, Georgia. Organic honey and bee products from alpine meadows — made with a care passed down since 1981.
Everyone says “natural”. We show you how it’s made.
A family tradition since 1981
The Papaliko family has kept bees in Kazbegi for more than 40 years — the craft is passed down from generation to generation.
The alpine meadows of Kazbegi
Our bees gather nectar from the mountain flowers of Kazbegi, more than 1,700 metres above sea level.
Organic and natural
Our products are organic and natural — exactly as nature and the bees make them.
From the mountain to your table

Papaliko — a family tradition since 1981
Beekeeping in our family began in 1981 in Kazbegi. Today we work in the same place, with the same care — in harmony with nature.
From meadow to jar
- Spring
Preparing the colonies
After the winter we check every bee colony and get it ready for the season.
- Summer
Alpine bloom
The bees gather nectar and pollen from the flowers of the Kazbegi meadows.
- Late summer
Harvesting the honey
We harvest the honey only once it has fully ripened.
- Autumn
Extracting and jarring
We extract and jar the honey ourselves, as a family, in Kazbegi.
